How to Add UBB and Friends Token on your Metamask 🪙

This article will guide you on how to add the Unclebigbay and Friends token to your Metamask wallet and how to request the cryptocurrency.

What is UBB and Friends Community?

Unclebigbay and Friends (UBBF) is a developer community with the goal of helping one another grow in the tech industry. The WhatsApp group has been in existence for over 3 years, and we've expanded into 2 Whatsapp groups with success stories from members.

What is UBB and Friends Token?

The Unclebigbay and Friends Token (UBBFT) is the UBBF community token that'll be held by the community members and early holders will have the highest share.

There are only 9 million UBBFT available.

PS: The UBBFT Token is a Testnet Cryptocurrency (Not real digital money and doesn't have any value outside the UBB and Friends community)

Prerequisites

You must have a Metamask wallet installed or download Metamask here.

Adding UBBFT Token on Metamask

Step 1 - Switch to the "Rinkeby Test Network" on your Metamask:

Step 2- Click on "Import Tokens" on your Metamask wallet:

Step 3 - Fill the Contract Details

  • Paste the smart contract address in the input "Token Contract Address" box.
0x75B5CD82E2675009E0F03Cb81f6F6A14eB53Dd93

  • The token symbol and decimal will be displayed automatically as shown below.

  • Click on the "Add Custom Token" button: importing our deployed custom token on Metmask wallet

  • Confirm to import the token into your wallet: confirming importing our deployed custom token on Metmask wallet

  • After the confirmation, the token will be added to your wallet: confirming importing our deployed custom token on Metmask wallet

Your own token balance will be zero. The next step will guide you on how to request UBBFT funds.

Step 1 - Grab your Metamask wallet address
